                                                       model: Frida Gustavsson

So here I found the second topic of my blog. Today while googling for some evening gowns, here I found this one. As soon as, I saw the pic, it kept me observing the dress for quite sometime. And later, after a little research, I got to know that this evening toga dress is actually a part of Chanel's Spring Summer 2010 Haute Couture collection.  This proves that I am already behind the trend. But then, who wants to look ahead, as Karl Lagerfeld, the German fashion designer said,"Fashion is always now". I have gone through all the designs of this collection, but this is the one I personally like. If I have been given the chance to own this creation for free, I would not wait for even a second!! Ha Ha....so would you!! Jokes Apart....

As the designer Karl Lagerfeld has used only pastels and silver in his this collection, this beautiful evening gown is no different. I like the drapes on the shoulder with silver detailing done beneath that looks more like as if this elegant gown is inspired from our Indian Saaree and that makes it more appealing, which if worn by any Indian woman would make her look like million dollars.

(p.s: pic is not owned by me; and been used only for display purpose)
